"Frog Finger!"

I started something new with the kids this year.  In order to keep them quiet while taking class bathroom breaks I bring my "frog finger" with me!  The frog finger is a big giant stuffed TCU(horned frogs!) finger that someone gave me! I let the "quietest person" hold it for a little bit.  The kids LOVE IT!!!!  I haven't heard a peep all week at the bathroom!  I forgot to take pictures of it today, but here are some from yesterday!

DAY 2!!

WOW!  Yesterday was great...but today was AWESOME!!  The kids remembered all of our rules and procedures from yesterday and learned even more today!!

Today I introduced 4 math tubs!  The students were able to explore with them at their tables!  It was a big hit!!

Teddy bears used for sorting, making patterns and so much more!

Pattern blocks are lots of fun!!

Who knew you could learn with buttons?!

Cubes are definitely a favorite among kindergarteners!

All in all it was a really super day! :)

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!

We had a WONDERFUL first day of school!  Today we learned lots of routines and procedures!  The kiddos gave today TWO THUMBS UP!!

The kids also loved meeting all of their new friends!  We have a really great bunch this year, and I know there will be wonderful friendships formed!
